Treatment Systems We offer integrated systems for the treatment of industrial waste waters for salinity control and effective waste minimization through the recovery of by-products. Our commercial treatment systems currently embrace SEPCON and HES technologies, the two cornerstones of our technology innovation, underlying the quality of our services and products. Our technologies are available to end users through flexible licensing and technical service contracts that are backed by relevant guarantees. Licensing may require prior field trials to optimize plant design parameters according to the characteristics of waste water and to produce sufficient byproducts for market evaluations. SEPCON (Saline Effluent to Products CONversion) is the highlight of our technology development efforts for integrated salinity control and waste minimization. These plants are custom designed and come in different sizes, as either a fixed or portable facility. SEPCON technology has a low operating cost, is flexibile in its linkage with other processes for wide ranging applications, and delivers commercial grade byproducts with consistently high quality. By using SEPCON technology to convert dissolved salts in wastewaters to commercial grade byproducts the treated waters become safer to dispose or to be treated further for water recovery. Our technology can be also conveniently linked with various oil-water separation methods for productive use of oil field waters in Enhanced Oil Recovery projects, or for reducing waste disposal requirements in saline agriculture where the objective is to maximize the biomass yield for generating biofuels. HES (High Efficiency Separation) is a proprietary technology for efficient separation of lightweight solid from liquids at high flow rates. Energy efficient solid-liquid separation technologies are critically important in over 90% of known industries that produce or consume energy sourced from fossil or bio fuels. HES uses simple but smartly designed separation vessels requiring minimum moving parts to separate problematic light weight solids from non-oily liquids. This simple design along with reduced pumping requirements translate to significant energy and cost efficiency in high flow operations. These features make our technology an excellent candidate for broad application to diverse needs of oil/gas, energy, water, mining/mineral processing, irrigation, food production, construction and light manufacturing sectors. Direct specific application areas include separation of fines from tailing effluents of oil sand mining operations, biological treatment (BOD reduction), desalination, degassing, CO2 sequestration, oxygen generation for fuel cells, suspended solids reduction in biomass production, or any combination of the above.
